When I was checking out 
to join and all that, i came across information about a new transformation Sonic goes through. Lookie(info from ssclub):
Although this form appears very briefly in ep 67, when Sonic sees Chris badly injured, trapped inside a glass prison with Cosmo, Sonic falls down on his knees. As two robots appear behind him, with rage swelling up in him, Sonic suddenly glows a dark blue color. He quickly disappears. After he thrashes one of the robots while invisible, we see him in the smoke...transformed.v Spiky quills, his fur is all black; even his peach areas were it, his pupils are gone (ala Broly), and lastly his back quills are elongated. So what made him transform, despite the lack of Chaos Emeralds? Well, if you have watched SX, you'd know that Metarex had mass produced fake Chaos Emeralds, full of negative energy. These fakes were underground when Sonic transformed.
Heh, I only viewed one other fanart for him before I decided to give him a try. But mine kinda looks more like a plain old Super Sonic model thats just black instead of Gold. I forgot his Peach areas are supposed to be black as well.
well ignore that. Once I learn more, I'll probaly draw him again.

It depends on how far he transforms into his dark form. If he is, say about 50 percent into the transforamtion, his peach areas will be slightly darker, and his fut will be black. If he were to go to 100 percent and above, of course all his spikeswould elongate(even the ones on his back will turn upwards a little). Sorry I couldn't ingore the mistake on the picture, but as I said before, it depends on how far he goes into transformation. Even though some people call him DARK SONIC, I'd say that's the name for when hus fur darkens and a blue aura emmits from his body, and when he goes into what you've drawn here, to where he goes completely black, that's Dark Super Sonic.
